The Ijzertoren, (tower of iron) is the tallest World War I and peace memorial in Flanders, Belgium. In Diksmuide near Ypres along the Yser River. AVV-VVK stands for "All for Flanders, Flanders for Christ." The white characters at the bottom read "Never Again War" in two languages.
