Description

One of numerous architectural sights of Tyumen is V. I. Rabinovich's built in 1911 - 1922 the House. The mansion represents very recognizable and characteristic example of stone Tyumen architecture of the beginning of the XX century. The author of the project is the city architect Konstantin Pavlovich Chakin. It enriched composition of a construction habitual for the city with fine furniture of the facades executed in style the neorenaissance. On the first floor of the stone house the shop of Rabinovich and To Association was placed. Here the women's and men's wear, caps, furs and road things was on sale. The mansion was the main building of the estate which warehouses and two wooden two-storeyed houses also entered. Except V. I. Rabinovich, lodgers lived in the house. In 1918 the estate nationalized. Since 1936 the creamery, and then � dining rooms here settled down. At the end of the XX century the building reconstructed according to the project G. M. Dubonosa.
