Description
S. I. Kolokolnikov's estate � the oldest household in the city � is known since the beginning of the XIX century when it belonged to the Tyumen merchant I. V. Ikonnikov. In 1837 in the farmstead house Crown Prince Alexander Nikolaevich and its mentor V. A. Russian poet Zhukovsky stopped. At the end of the XIX century the estate took over the representative of other known merchant dynasty of Tyumen � Stepan Ivanovich Kolokolnikov who soon cardinally updated it. In the 1990th the building is restored according to the project of the architect G. P. Bordakov. Restoration of a difficult front carving with restoration of the lost elements was executed by the master V. M. Shitov. The monument has memorial value: in it from August to October, 1919 there was V. K. Blyukher's headquarters. Today this mansion belongs to the Tyumen regional museum of local lore.
