Ancient chinese drums of famous touristic place Drums Tower in Xi'an near Beijing (Peking). Xi'an had served as the nation's capital for more than 1000 years,once as the capital of 13 ancient Chinese dynasties such as the Western Zhou, Qin, Xihan, Xinmang, Eastern Han, Western Jin, Former Zhao, pre-Qin, post-Qin, Western Wei, Northern Zhou, Sui and Tang dynasties. The Drums Tower is one of the landmark. It date back to the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). The monument is located in the center of the Xian city. The drums were sounded at dusk each day in ancient time. You can notice the antique calligraphy on the drums.
