Description
Located south of the city and in the southern part of the peninsula of Kanoni there is a small monastery dedicated to Our Lady of Vlaherna. It almost seems that arise in the middle of the sea because it is on a small island connected to the mainland only by a small jetty. This all white architecture that stands out against the blue background of the sea dates back to the seventeenth century and the position in which is creates the perfect backdrop for a photograph. You enter through an arch to the base of the tower, and leads to a small courtyard which then passes into the church itself.
