PAKISTAN, Peshawar: Armed militants attacked the Pakistan Air Force base at Badaber on September 18, 2015 leaving at least 17 dead. Many of those killed were security forces observing morning prayers in the air base's mosque. Local reports say all of the attackers, who were dressed in police uniforms, were killed by the rapid response team. The Pakistan Taliban claimed responsibility for the attack.
