PHILIPPINES, Manila: Manila Archbishop Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle opened the Holy Door of Manila Cathedral to mark the beginning of Year of Mercy in the Philippines on December 9, 2015. Pope Francis led the ceremonial opening of Holy Door of St. Peter's Basilica yesterday. Pope Francis declared December 8, 2015 (Feast of the Immaculate Conception of Mary) to November 20, 2016 (Feast of the Christ the King) as Jubilee Year of Mercy.
