Part of its inhabitants have started to leave the neighborhod as Indonesian authorities are about to demolish it. Bulldozers should start their work on Monday February 29. The neighborhood is home to about 3,000 people, including legal businesses and families. Hundreds face eviction for living among illegal brothels.
