INDIA, Tinsukia: An officer stands guard after a protest where at least eleven people were killed, and twelve others injured, when a high-voltage electric cable was hit by stray police fire and fell on protesters in Tinsukia, Assam, India on April 11, 2016. Protesters had reportedly stormed a police station, calling on police to hand over a group of suspects arrested for killing two people last week. Police opened fire to disperse protesters, and a stray bullet severed the power line, which fell and electrocuted demonstrators.
