MACEDONIA, Skopje: As demonstrations continue in Skopje, Macedonia on April 18, 2016, huddling police are splattered with paint thrown by angry protesters, who also threw paint and eggs on the Ministry of Culture building. Demonstrations began nearly one week ago, as protesters denounced the President Gjorge Ivanov's decision to halt probes into more than 50 public figures involved in a wiretapping scandal. Meanwhile, snap elections have been called for June 5.
