ECUADOR, Portoviejo: An electrical pole in Portoviejo, Ecuador has fallen on April 17, 2016 the day after a devastating earthquake killed roughly 350 people, and counting. In Portoviejo, a prison was reportedly destroyed, allowing 100 inmates to escape. A state of emergency has been declared, and more than 13,000 soldiers and police officers have been deployed to the worst-hit areas of the country.
