Description
Shore temple is the structural building built with the block of granite at 8th Century AD. It is one of the Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram and it has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Shore temple is the oldest structural rock-cut stone temples of South India and contains complex of temples and shrines. This temple complex is initiated by King Narasimhavarman II and it is called one of the Seven Pagodas in ancient times.
