Description
On the bank of the Dniester near the village is a rocky monastery founded in the VI century BC. Oe. Here in the XV century ruler Stephen III the Great (%u015Etefan cel Mare) was married to his wife Mary Voykitsey. Since 1776 began a period of prosperity and expansion of the monastery. Rock Church was divided into large rooms, separated by massive columns.
