The town borders the Tarn department. Located at the confluence of the Bonnette and the Aveyron at the edge of the Rouergue and on the borders of the Albigeois and the Quercy, Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val is one of the oldest medieval cities which has survived the vagaries of history. It is surrounded by country houses and borders the western part of the national forest of Grésigne. Its site is protected in the gorges of Aveyron and the cliffs of the rock of Anglars.
