Euphorbia larica (cactus-like in appearance) is one of the commoner plants in Oman (where it is known as isbaq), found from sea-level to 1500m. Like many other Euphorbiaceae, it produces abundant white milky sap ( latex-like) when the stems are broken. This sap is not an irritant, but may be poisonous when ingested.
