Leifeng Statue Houhai Lake Beijing China. Like the Mao Statues, the Chinese government in the 60s and 70s erected Lei Feng Statues to an army private, Lei Feng, who was made famous for his good deeds in the Chinese army. The Inscription on the statue states the statue was erected in March 1964. This is one of the famous spots in Beijing.
