CERNOBBIO, LAKE COMO, ITALY – May 27: BMW showcasing their BMW i8 Concept car during the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este auto show in Cernobbio at the Lake Como in Italy on May 27, 2012. The BMW i8 is the most innovative sportscar at the moment, the plugin-hybrid concept combines a modified electric drive on the front tires and a combustion engine at the rear tires, therefore reducing the consumption to that of a small car. Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este is a well renowned elegance competition for classic and vintage cars. It has taken place every year since 1929 and is also used by car manufacturers for presenting new prototypes and concept cars.
