The modern exhibition hall was designed and built on the occasion of documenta 9. The documenta - the world's largest exhibition of contemporary art - got its own exhibition building here for the first time in 1992... The hall offers 1400 m² of exhibition space and almost 700 m² of other ancillary space for offices,a depot and a cafeteria.
