Description
The AOK building at the southern corner of Friedrichsplatz zur Schönen Aussicht stands for the typical 50s architecture. The staircase is a particularly successful example with its transparency - created by large window surfaces embedded in fine reinforced concrete construction - which continues inside through the open curved staircase. In the stairwell is the sound installation "Three to One"" by Max Neuhaus – A documenta artwork from documenta 9 1992."
