Winners and jurors of the Stilwerk Award in Hamburg - Altona Press release: for the best young designer 2007On May 22,2007,stilwerk presents the stilwerk Award for the best young designer 2007 for the first time.For the first time in its more than 10-year history,stilwerk is 2007 to announce a design competition aimed exclusively at young talents. The task: Development of a 3D design object for the areas of kitchen,bathroom,bedroom,hallway,children's room or living room. Not only the aesthetic claim is to be met,the jury expects above all functional designs: True values for the living space is the motto,which explicitly implies ecological production criteria and excludes disposable products. Participants in the competition were students from Hamburg's universities from the 3rd semester onwards,who focused on product design,communication design,art education and technology. From 23 to 31 May 2007,all submitted works were presented in the foyer of stilwerk Hamburg.
