Tim Maelzer Oldtimer-Rallye Hamburg-Berlin started More than 180 classic cars started on Thursday at the Hamburg Fish Auction Hall for a 650 kilometer long trip to Berlin. The pilots of the second Hamburg-Berlin Rally,among them Boris Becker,Tim Mälzer and Oliver Bierhoff,started for a splash tour and driving exercises in the harbour. On Friday,the riders will start the two-day tour to Berlin - via Ratzeburg,Boltenhagen on the Baltic Sea and the Mecklenburg Lake District. The oldest vehicle is a Hispano Suiza H6 from 1921,the strongest engine has a Ferrari F40 with 550 hp. According to the organizers,the classic car rally is not about speed,but about skill and driving pleasure.
