Description
This 97 foot burr truss covered bridge has several names. The most mommon is Gristmill Bridge bercause there is a grist mill just down river. The other names are the Canyon Bridge, The Scott Bridge and the Alden Bryan Bridge. You should call the Jeff Town Clerk. The Bridge is built over the Brewster River and is just off Rt 108. No one knows for sure when it was built, but 1870 is a good guess. The bridge was rehabed in 2004..
