On the right bank of the Rhine near the Hohenzollern Bridge in Cologne stands the equestrian statue of Kaiser Wilhelm I (1797 - 1888). He became King of Prussia in 1861 and German Emperor in 1871. Created in 1864 by Friedrich Drake
